Excited to celebrate a new story acceptance this week! Woo! 🎉🎉

A couple weeks ago I did scoop up a praying mantis who’d wandered into a busy walkway, though. I just hope he wanted to go back out into nature. 😅

OMG, that’s so cute—but also good to know! I hope I get a chance to use this info one of these days. Luckily I haven’t had to rescue a bumble bee from the house for a while, but I’m pretty sure they’re friendly out here.

I feel like there’s a long tradition in SFF of the British spelling being preferred even by American writers. (I would also objectively prefer it if I didn’t think I’d get constantly corrected 😅).
