I recently updated the UK-Michigan State rivalry page. This goes back to the beginning of this series and details every game ever played between the two schools. Some critically important, memorable & even record setting games were played between these two.

New addition to UK Boxscores. Now you can see game times each game was started linked near bottom of boxscore. Most every game is known (only about 100 missing).

Most common start time is between 8:00-8:29 PM, with over 1000 games started within that time.
Against Nicholls UK shot 54.5% from the free throw line. This currently places them as the worst free throw shooting team in history (at least among teams where FT% stats are available).

Something to watch: This season to date UK as a team is shooting 35.5% on 28.7 3pt FG Attempts per game. (10.2 made 3pt FG per game)
UL is shooting 27.0% on 31.8 3pt FG Attempts per game. (8.6 made 3pt FG per game).
Kentucky plays Colgate of the Patriot League tonight for the first time in school history.
UK is 5-0 against Patriot League teams (at time game was played). They are 16-1 all-time against current Patriot League members. Only loss was to Navy in 1928 at Annapolis.
Koby Brea has hit 27-49 3-pt FG for 55.1% this season for UK. His next 3-pt attempt he will either be 27-50 (54.0%) or 28-50 (56.0%). Either way he enters at the top of my list of top UK 3-pt% shooters in a season (min 50 3pt FGA).
Note this is not official. UK adopted a minimum of 100 3pt FGA.
After being down by 16 points at halftime, Kentucky goes on to beat Gonzaga in OT. This ties for largest halftime deficit for a win in UK history. (Tied with games vs. LSU in 1994 & Louisville in 2004.)

Gonzaga’s Graham Ike with 26 points (& counting) has set a record for most points scored by a Gonzaga player vs. Kentucky. Previous record was tied between Blake Stepp in 2002 & Rasir Bolton in 2022 with 24 points.
