And the words "woman" and "man" carry certain assumptions/expectations of masculinity and femininity that take away possible nuance from what someone who identifies as a person in those groups might feel. So the language, as I understand it, doesn't have many words that succinctly expand on these

But I also don't fit into the "woman" category, and nonbinary as a word/idea in english (to my understanding anyway) feels like it lacks a lot of nuance for what gender beyond woman/man is and could be.

I only know english as my spoken/written language, and gender ideas within the language are generally limited to "man" or "woman" categories, with nonbinary being the catch-all for everything that falls outside the main two. In my case, I'm male but don't rly fit into the "man" category,

It's difficult to work out gender identity when the language that all my spoken and internal thoughts are processed through lacks words which can properly convey ideas of gender nuance within and beyond its ingrained binaries
