I didn’t say a single word about him being an evil character.

And about the choice of words… English isn’t my native language, but wouldn’t using the word “harm” be more… common in this context? Because personally, the part about “killing” feels way too specific to me.

And in the end, Lucifer was right. Making cute ducks really does help.

Honestly, his whole emotional remark about not being able to kill sinners once struck me as strange. No matter how much I like a more aggressive interpretation of him, it never even crossed my mind that he would WANT to kill sinners. He just doesn’t look like a killer for me.

I mean… yeeeah… but at the same time, he was very clearly considering killing sinners. Because otherwise, why would he say “I can’t KILL a sinner” instead of “I can’t HURT a sinner”?

So I prefer to believe that this cinnamon roll still has a couple of surprises inside 🙃

Alright, I’ll just say it, since people have started discussing a similar topic in the commentson twitter.

When I was drawing Lucifer’s face in the final shot, I had THAT frame with Stolas from THAT fan animation in mind. I didn’t use it as a reference, I just remembered it. I don’t even know why 👀
