Pope Leo Will Spend July 4 Visiting Migrant Crossing Island Pope Leo has spoken out against the treatment of migrants in the United States several times over the last year.

JD Vance personally invited Pope Leo to the U.S. 250th celebration on the 4th of July. Today the Vatican announced Leo will be spending the day with migrants instead.

Also Pep with more amazing responses to Jim Radcliffe's idiotic and racist statements. He makes me even more proud to support with everything going wrong here in America.

I rarely miss a game now and am part of the Philadelphia supporters group so go to the bar whenever I can to watch with them. I will never have the local connection like Mancs do, and I have with other sports teams, but I consider myself a top blue. How do locals see foreign fans?

@lmtpod.city well that was boring so an unrelated question. How are foreign city fans viewed by locals? I became a city fan bc the first PL game I ever watched was Aguero's 93.20 goal. I was 15 at the time and soccer just wasn't a sport I grew up watching but it instantly had me hooked.

Are hugging again. I know Foden has been off it, and was brighter against Fulham, it's clear pep wants him at his best mentally and knows how much that impacts his game. Hoping hes helping to rebuild confidence so we can have him at his best the rest of the season. But not sure where he starts atm.

@lmtpod.city just watching now bc of yesterday and have already listened to the pod so I know what happens but something I've noticed the last few games is Foden and Pep embracing in big moments. After the Cherki non-goal goal Foden and Pep hugged for a while. After the second goal tonight they...

@lmtpod.city I think it shows how far Cherki has come in his first season, or how much we lack compared to seasons past, that I'm so scared without Cherki. But it also tracks with what Sam has been saying about what pep thinks that Cherki has to follow up magic with effort.

If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.

@lmtpod.city do you think the 6/a deep midfielder is Nico O'Reilly's most likely future position? He looks so composed there and provides great passing range from that position. Barely noticed him today and I mean that in a good way as he was so good at winning it back and being available for a pass

Barack Obama was already president. He's never running for public office again. And yet, he's appealing to the better angels of the Trump administration.

You have to admire how he's doing it for the love of the game these days.

The only that was inspiring about that second half was the celebration on the block of Nico/Guehi at the end. That felt grim and that any quality team would have punished us. No build up, no control but also no attacking threat.

@lmtpod.city early second half thought: what does Reijnders provide if he's not scoring? A midfielder who does not do literally anything in build up is pretty useless. The lack of control in the first 15 of this half is such an indictment of this current side. Ah he's getting subbed as I type this

This is what 7 House Democrats voted with Republicans to fund. This is what Hakeem Jeffries didn't whip votes against. This is what Gavin Newsom said *wasn't* fascism.

@lmtpod.city It now feels then last season. At least last season we had injuries all over the pitch as an excuse, our backline has gone down and our team has just crumbled. Crazy question but has Pep lost the dressing room? There is no fight left

Totally agree and I am biased as a City fan but the lack of consistency is infuriating

I really don't think either should be given as offsides but they seemed similar but Victor much more clearly offsides, in terms of the line, then Erling so if you call one you have to call the other

How is Haaland considered offside yesterday and Gyorkeres not today?

Someone like Ruben, maybe a bad example bc of injury, doing a lot of the talking to talk about how we go again and fight? Is it talked about how important today's game is or do players just kind of know and motivate themselves. Enjoy your press conference Sam!

@lmtpod.city happy Sam's back at work/115 week to all who celebrate! Question before today's game as I get ready for my 6am shift over here in Philly. What is the locker room like after a loss like the other day/before a game like today? Is it quiet with Pep telling the players off or..

Also feel like Pep arguing with the referee always ups the battle feeling. Seems like a 115 ruling would really galvanize the team, can't wait for it to drop on Sam's first day back at work

Do city have the best away support in the league? As an American I obviously only experience games on TV but it feels like city has by far the loudest away fans, no matter who I watch, and they were excellent today. I hear more fans chanting away then at home most games.

@lmtpod.city there was a question on the last show about battle mode and it certainly feels like they are getting into that gear. They weren't great but they kept probing and pushing and upped the control and it feels like they love a battle. I thought one of the signs of that was the fans...
