Before this surge there were detentions across the state. But at the moment they are concentrated around immigrant neighborhoods in those areas. Learning from Minnesota teachers us to expect the surge to expand into smaller towns soon.
Up here in Maine, we are in the midst of a significant press from ICE. Our larger communities are losing friends and family. I have been trained as a verifier/observer. I’ll respond to local hotline sightings of ICE activity in the area, and record activity.
