13.9.2025 A DV12 road switcher idling away at the freight yard at Toijala railway station. A few moments later this engine would leave to pull a freight train out of the yard.
6.6.2025 A red SM2 was unusually doing the "R" local service. This line is usuallt served by sm4:s instead of the older sm2:s.
10.5.2025 A finnish VR2 "Duck" sitting at a shed at Finnish Locomotive museum (Suomen Veturimuseo); a museum that I'm volunteering at. When this photo was taken, the locomotive was being cleaned up.
Note the M-wagon that covers most of the bufferbeam and cylinders.
Note. The loco is an sr1 instead of an SR3. Sorry for the mistake :/
I don't know why people can't just view trains from behind a fence.
All they are doing is giving us railfanners a bad reputation among railway companies.
To people that did this, I wish a very unpleasant evening.
First of all this is very stupid. A train can't stop easily if you won't notice it in time;
and secondly this is highly illegal. Worst case scenario Trespassing could land you In jail.

7.11.2024 An sm3 Pendolino stopping at Parkano and then continuing towards Tampere.
Sorry for the bad audio quality. Phone mic was full of gunk so it couldn't pick up audio properly.
29.8.2025 Intercity IC 142 presumably from Helsinki pulling up at Tampere. After a short wait it started going back towards Helsinki.
I am from Finland and speak finnish. I just use english so more people can enjoy my train photos.

29.8.2025 A Dm12 just about to leave Tampere and go to Keuruu. Unlike most of the rolling stock currently in service with VR, these ones are diesels instead of electric.
