I also admire how they used complimentary gross shades of blue and yellow for the enemies and the environment. The infected here are the most distinct enemies thus far and nothing in this cathedral made me feel safe for a second. More thoughts coming soon!

I also love the constant yellow in this area. Yes, it's a break from the constant greys from before, but something about this gave me a weird sense of frustration. The sun was setting but I'd just started. I wasn't anywhere near done with my business here, but the day was almost over.

Specifically in the cathedral, I loved how it feels like God has abandoned the people of Krat & Moonlight Town. Every statue of an angel or saint has their face covered. The only one with its eyes open is the one-winged angel near the entrance, but its face is shadowed, foreshadowing the boss here.

Something that's been on my mind a LOT throughout my playthrough is how distinct the environments feel. Krat is a city in ruin, Venigni's workshop is industrial and grim, Moonlight Town feels ripped right out of RE4, and St. Frangelico's is gorgeous and rotten in very pious ways.

I've been playing Lies of P on Twitch, and just finished what I'd consider the first act of the game. After 10 hours I've got a handful of thoughts to unpack, so consider this a thread that I'll update as more thoughts develop over time. Read below!
