No essay for Stop Caring this month, but I am releasing this triple threat of personal updates/a call for pitches/a request for donations

This reminds me of when I was at a work conference at my last job (I worked in education sorta). Everyone was freaking out about the DOE getting cut and whether or not we'd have jobs and one guy suggested that we get students to use AI to write letters to state reps. Nothing came of it, but man.

I love the distinct difference between biomes AND the monsters native to each floor. I'm so excited for this game to come release eventually, glad the devs keep cooking.

My friend has been hitting me with the 'games journalist (derogatory)' a few times over the past days purely because I wanted to use specters in Lies of P because I got tired of beating up big phase one bosses

On the bright side it makes me want to look for the available titles physically out in the wild. $80 a year is insane.

Got back to chipping away at Playnite, onto the PS4/5 catalog. I'm surprised at how many games I have on here (185/274 that I've actually booted up) and how so many games sprinkled throughout are PS+.

I booted up RDR2 on the wife's PS4 and I can't believe that in the 80+ hours I spent playing this game in 2023 I never sat down and chilled tf out. This game is so peaceful. Not once did I appreciate the heartlands for what it was; what a vapid young man I was.

I find it astonishing that TikTok gave someone enough money for rent as well as a large enough audience of reactionaries to say they're racist for not liking MJ's music (which is a wild opinion, but still)

I like not being online because in the past few days I've seen someone say they didn't like Michael Jackson's music, and then just a few days later make a video on a new account because the old one got deleted they can't pay their rent now because tiktok was their paycheck or something
