Grad school is fun because you get to talk to a professor about horror who will tell you that his experience with long COVID and seeing his heart literally beat out of his chest helped push him to finish a second book about how all horror is body horror.

Stoked that GameStop is doing a big midnight release thing at all their stores. Very excited!

I read this a few days ago when it dropped and I'm re-reading it on my lunch break. I hate that I waited until my twenties to start thinking about games with an ounce of depth when I've been playing them for literally my entire life. Ts is so good dude.

Ik it's literally right at the beginning, but there's something about this that really gets my attention. Maybe it's just grad school brain but the idea of a gaming "syllabus" to help act as a pathway for thoughts is cool.

We ended up just doing a test stream to make sure everything worked, but you guys would not BELIEVE how good Silksong feels on this thing. Only played for 30ish minutes and had to remember where 'up' was sometimes, but man it felt great.

Just found out I get to play Silksong for work on Friday

It's funny you say this because I had a conversation with my mom about this yesterday, and I felt this way about my last job. It's gotta be a sign of the times man. Wishing you the best, hope things ease up with the end of the year.
