1st attempts at painting in the style of Dufy - a bit hit & miss but cropping down to parts I like makes me happier with my efforts. A reminder to focus on the pleasurable & the glimmers of hope among the imperfect brushstrokes of a chronically ill life.

Red is pain. Have had a migraine for a week now. On the painting, my symptoms are drawn and coloured within: Chronic rhinitis, migraine aura (unfocused eyes), headaches and jaw pain, nausea, mind fog and POTS.

Tigers are one of my favorite animals
This one is only 5"×7" but it took forever because I scratched in each hair individually. I also have joint issues, so I can only work in short stints. I'm proud of myself for completing it, though!
