And yet, we face uncertain times, with a resurgence of the same sort of anti-LGBT legislation as in the 80s, and savage cuts to funding for HIV prevention, especially in aid to developing nations. So this World AIDS Day, letβs recharge, renew, and remember the sense of community that brought us so far. And in honour of those who went before: Get tested. Campaign. Protest. Support each other, just as we did in the worst of times. The fight isnβt over yet.
