My understanding is they want to dump his contract as much as we want to dump Grant's contract. Sure, he is really good but he's almost untradeable and very overpaid. I wouldn't give up any firsts. I'd have no problem running back with Grant because I don't expect a repeat of last year.

Grant / Williams for Markkenen is the only trade I can think of that makes sense for both teams...since Utah clearly wants to be bad.
