I'm not sure, normally I think it's the other way around (from Indian > Persia). I'm sure there's some kind of dialectic back and forth, though. In this case though Watan is coming from Arabic to Persian. Also Turkish too (we use the same spelling "Vatan" to denote Mother/Fatherland).

Reminded me of this journalist in Turkey, who defected to Erdogan's side, and ended up being a radical advisor to him with fringe economical and general ideas (like telekinesis attacks etc.) There's an anatomic similarity to these breed of utter swindlers. Bash his face in (ours is dead & rotting).

March 8, 2026 - Tehran at sunrise today. But the sun is hidden behind a sky filled with smoke. After a night of intensive strikes on oil facilities, thick black clouds now hang over the city, turning morning into something that feels like night.
It's extremely clear that the US doesn't really have an objective here except to inflict maximum pain, and attacking water supply is going to end catastrophically for the entire region. It's not just a war crime, it's approaching a crime against humanity.
