Sorry this was longer than I expected but seeing these things going around bsky felt really weird and wanted to at lwast address them as the starter of the initial event.

Square gave an opportunity for all servers to come together in one spot, I used it. No 'selfish' reasons like a post said.

So I'm going to stick by that even if this has gone on longer than expected, I've seen a lot of people from all sides having fun making friends, theres been no mass action from SE mods even if theres a "mass report" and if this goes on I'm sure SE will add a new Costa instance as a response.

Now I can confirm if people are actually mass reporting, but the only to proofs we have was someone getting banned for ten days for being on the beach for a hour due to their carrd (they deleted that post) and a person who used vulgar language in their bio (They got a warning

I've noticed a lot of misconceptions going on primarily on bsky abkut the bash that has definitely gone over longer than it was intended for but even then as the host I want to clear as much of these up as I can so I'm making this thread once.

the reason behind 90% of 200+mb outfit mods is bc the creator leaves the textures in ARGB format, which is entirely uncompressed.

you can shrink texture file sizes by 75% if you convert them to BC7 format.
