The House JUST advanced gun violence prevention legislation, sponsored by Rep. Lindsay Gilchrist and Speaker Pro Tempore Andy Boesenecker, that would crack down on ghost guns to keep our communities safe.

Amid rise in "ghost guns" in Colorado, ATF makes historic rule changes on gun sales For the first time in 50 years, the ATF is changing its requirements for firearm serial numbers, in aims to crack down on "ghost guns."

Since 2016, the number of ghost guns used in crimes throughout the country increased by 1000%, yet over 99% of those guns cannot be traced back to a user, owner or producer.

This poses a serious risk to our communities.
