Meant to share this while it was still Purim; a few years ago, I wrote a jokey, but also sincere article about why prune hamantaschen are the best, and—for a while—Google AI plagiarized the funny parts as facts and ignored the sincere parts that actually talked about the cultural history of lekvar.

A Google AI summary of the search "why prune hamantaschen is the best" with a bunch of answers from my jokey piece about it plagiarized as fact. Including there are "three acceptable Ashkenazi Purim cookie flavors," they're "safe for orthodontics," and "they're good for the gut. The combination of excess dairy and booze can pose a problem to stereotypically sensitive gastrointestinal systems that prunes can help solve."
