Yes, Hank Hill is undoubtedly a Reagan/Bush guy but, as these new episodes highlight, he remains committed to decency and respect. I particularly like the scene where he and Peggy are buying Girl Scout cookies and, when informed about the name change, he says “yeah, that’s a good change.” Decency.

I'm old enough to remember when Sen. John Cornyn—a former state judge—used to extol the virtues of federalism. He doesn't care so much about it nowadays, it seems.
