*Assuming a voluntary voting system. Compulsory voting you need to be of enough to be aware of the legal consequences, but even then, 10-12 would be fine, I think.

It turns out that it's actually not that difficult to crank out a good essay if you actually turn up to the lectures and tutorials, and at least *try* to do the readings.

If you know your shit you'd be astonished at what your brain can produce at speed.

The highest marks I ever got for an essay was the one I started an hour before the due date. I *regularly* started writing essays the night before they were due, and graduated with a Distinction average.

They are gash, gauche, rash and, well, stupid. Tried to find a weird that rhymed with gauche that fit but alas, I'm not that cool.

The line between the SS Tampa and Trump's Ascension isn't a *straight* line, but there's an exceptionally obvious arc. *We* started the modern trend of detention centres and offshore detention, and that policy has made the entire world dramatically worse. We have no moral high ground on this issue.

Frankly I'd like to see Australians lobby for Refugees and Asylum Seekers in general, so I don't *disagree* with you, but fuck it's gonna say terrible things about us as a country if *this* succeeds considering the *decades* of work for others groups...
