My recommendation- if you’re sending a letter, buy the stamps from your local post office or usps.com. If you’re mailing a package, go in person to an office or use a service like stamps.com to create a bar code label.

But with millions of legitimate stamps out there in the world, still valid for postage, mixed with counterfeits, there’s no easy solution.

The USPS has its hands tied for a lot of things. They’re expected to run themselves as an independent agency, but they’re also tied to government legislation to make any changes. They’ve put out PSA against counterfeit stamps, tried to crack down on sellers, it isn’t working.

I’m glad that the USPS is cracking down on counterfeit postage use, but if all they’re doing is trashing packages sent with fake stamps and not fundamentally changing the way we buy/use postage, I don’t know how much good it will do overall.

Okay, but like, the USPS *does* need to crack down on counterfeit postage. It’s a HUGE problem. The fact a company that ships a lot of goods is using forever stamps instead of a bar code label is a huge red flag that they probably are using counterfeits. [speaking from philatelic experience]

cw kinda gross body stuff: I asked before my hysterectomy what they would do with it and my doctor was really nice and asked if I wanted to keep it. (I didn’t want to keep it, but I did ask for a picture of it, which they gave to me. I wanted to *see* it.)

I like her music, but I think Sabrina is very much a visual artist. I think Manchild, Please, and Taste *need* their music videos. They don’t work as well without them. (I enjoy them more *as songs* after watching the videos first.)

Espresso and Feather are also improved by their videos.
