I find myself going back to avalonia ui for small projects. I like MAUI a lot but since I abandoned windows for Linux as my main dev system, the MAUI support is just not really there. I could dev on my mac but eh.
Nice and GitHub is down again. Gj. Co-pirate was really worth this.

Do love when I advocated my company move to gh, and the people who'd rather us just upload to a shared folder get to act smug in when GitHub keeps going down.
Is this just going to be "oh it's Monday @github.com has issues" now?
just cats
she is baby
last year I spent a bunch of overtime working, dealing with work things, and just working all the time. My art suffered, my health suffered. I still have a stupid work load and on my days off I still code. I gotta start just grabbing a camera and taking a photo every morning again.
3 hours of every work day I train other departments in development practices now. It's fun but, I still have the same workload. Well is sure beats... having a life?
Now time for the fun coding after coding not fun all day.
I post this cause I want to look at it and question my sanity later.
Worked on an esolang.
Ordered a bunch of old 4g hotspots for cheap to load some stuff on and hand out...for no reason... Convinced people to join me in boosting our local mesh in the area as well.
Pretty good for being sick.
So to have something to focus on that isn't the... everything
So I made a health aggregator in GLEAM. That's an odd language. Might do something else with it.
another weekend another trying to make a hell polyglot micro-service architecture for fun.
almost 24 hours later of messing with a project involving it.
I don't love it. Hmmm. But I don't hate it.
Wrote 1,370 lines to avoid copy pasta-ing 600.
Yep.
F# ... HMMM...I don't hate it.
idk how to feel when I check my gh stats on 2 projects and the pulls on it are far higher than I assumed any one would want to use them for. Wow.
Mmmm fire.
sidhe.dev got time on my silly art project again...I really should find a reason for this thing one day
It is the only way I will use a switch _most_ days in C#
Going from running my own bar, to working for other people in the tech world as a dev...I haven't learned how to 'turn off work' I find myself pulling out my laptop to fiddle with code, or just reading about code... all the time...
I never learned how to just leave work at work. It is a problem.
It was such a colorful storm.
from first commit to customer's buying the product in 55 days... a poem:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I need to sleep for a month.
end
it's way to late...
but I just noticed someone added an issue and pr to my a repo I made months ago to solve a problem I had.
Naturally I had to stay up late and go through the changes in the pr, test locally, then pull it in. say thank you, do the other half of the issue ticket right?
right?

My team is all C#/TS
I was asked to build a prototype, my company has a history of throwing prototypes to customers before they're ready.
So I designed it all in golang and python to make it so they couldn't with out a redesign!
I am now teaching my team go and python
smh, lesson learned.
code as hobby and code as work is catching up to my "I also need sleep"
I had an amazing moment as a Sr. SDE this week. the team changed it so much since I joined, I sat chatting with my manager looking at the whole team flexing new skills sets that I helped teach them and idk, felt amazing. Gotta hold on to those good moments before marketing Bike Sheds a new chat bot.
Indeed.
I am in love with the term ClickOps.
I have a word for the thing I hate now.
Good plan.
