This image shows a page of sketchbook held by two fingers on a orange background (my couch). The page is filled with an abstract striped sketch. 3/4 of the page from the bottom has a design with overlapping horizontal waves, inside they are colored alternately with a blue marker with full, large vertical stripes and with thin vertical striped stripes. The waves are drawn with a black pen. The top part of the page is simply colored in stripes with a purple marker.

And so on August 31, 2021 I returned to stripes 😅🙈 It's interesting to find out that I had made so many striped drawings, which I then almost never used in my digital patterns.

This is will be hard to explain, sorry if I can’t describe the image properly! This image shows an open sketchbook on a table with a floral tablecloth. The pages are filled with an abstract sketch in black and white. It looks like a mosaic made up of large irregular tiles, each of which is designed with a different pattern, it almost seems like a patchwork of different fabrics or a Kintsugi work with all different ceramic pieces. The patterns in the various pieces are all different, some are more geometric and some more organic, some floral, others striped. One is checkered and another is scalloped. Some have ethnic motifs inspired by mudcloth.

This is from August 30, 2021 an irregular patchwork of several #patterns in #blackandwhite reminds me a coloring book. Maybe if I had added a gold touch it would have looked like Kintsugi art.

There are also 4 other shapes on the side edges of the page, on the left they are only partially visible and are colored green with a yellow outline, while on the right they are slightly more visible and are brown. The rest of the background is filled with pink horizontal stripes.

It was August 28, 2021 and the old tiles of a seaside house inspired me, so I designed this pattern with two overlapping layers.

The colors used are 18 in total, if I'm not mistaken, and they are never repeated in adjacent rectangles. The result is a very colorful and vibrant pattern.

After two days of unconventional composition on August 27, 2021, I went back to stripes. I used all the colored markers I had to create a vibrant pattern.

This is will be hard to explain, sorry if I can’t describe the image properly! This image shows a page of sketchbook on a table with a floral tablecloth. The page is filled with an abstract sketch in black and white e some striped elements in pink and green! I use for it a black pen and colored markers. Is divided in 2 vertical sections, the first on the left of the page fill just 1/6 of the short side of the page, It features 4 triangular shapes in vertical sequence, but with the hypotenuse a little curved, with the right angle placed above on the left, filled with a background of thin black stripes, on the lower tip there are black coloured circles, while laterally on the right of the hypotenuse two vertical stripes, one longer and one shorter coloured black complete this part of the drawing. The remaining part of the page is filled with a more classic decoration that divides the design horizontally into five sections. There are five black horizontal lines, the first on the top edge of the short side of the page. Below each black line is a decoration composed of 14 black dots arranged in a horizontal sequence. From the first black dot on the left, an upward curve begins, closing in a semicircle on the third black dot in the sequence. From this same point, a downward semicircle begins, closing in on the fifth black dot. These alternating upward and downward curves continue until the end of the page; the last curve is cut in half. This pattern is then repeated five times under each black line. Between the pattern and the black line, below it, there is a white space and random vertical stripes filled with pink or green horizontal lines. Completing the composition, again randomly on the page, are four rectangles of different sizes colored black that cover part of the pattern below, without any specific pattern.

This is from August 26, 2021 and I think I was trying to create something new and different from the usual patterns, but I'm not entirely convinced by the result. 😅

It’s seems like 3 different drawings in a 1 page.

Between one shape and another there are small vertical red stripes as if to join the various shapes that make up the design.

For this #drawing dated August 16, 2021 I clearly opted for a multi-layered, mid-century design. There are still plenty of vertical and diagonal stripes and lines, but also some more rounded geometric shapes.
