For real. People have been fiending for this exact kind of AC game since it started and we finally get it and yet this is the state it's in. Constant controversy (valid and invalid) and an entire company riding on its shoulders. Insane. An example of waiting too long to do something cool?

I'm about 6 hours into Okami at this point, finished the first dungeon. Why isn't this game a bigger deal? It has so much going for it. It's 3D Zelda with better combat, beautiful art, fantastic music, and it's hilarious. Have to play more but this is looking like an all-timer.

This 100%. It's never a bad thing to go outside your comfort zone and experience something new. This applies to many other aspects of life too from food to places to visit and even the people you talk to. Diverse experiences are GOOD.

You should play games you don't like from time to time. Being able to articulate what you don't like about a game is just as important as being able to talk about what you do like. And hey, on very rare occasion you may find your tastes have changed - maybe that thing you hated is good actually?

Some Christmas pick ups! My partner never disappoints! The mouse will be helpful when I pick up FF14 again, and the books will be essential to expanding my knowledge and skills in my content!
