We had the second floor corner apartment on the right. The place was half of the whole floor. I think it was $900/mo for the four of us.

This evening’s neighborhood walk. My first apartment, circa ‘88 to late ‘89, and the lighthouse one block east and north of it.

Just blocks away from just about any cuisine you’d like, and probably thirty bands playing within a 2 mile radius

A boulevard in my neighborhood on a Friday at 9pm.

Yeah, I won’t make the obvious comparisons.

So pleasant.

I live above a corner store on the western edge of one of the most beautiful, ungated, urban communities in the country, replete with evidence of the Prairie School Master and his student’s work, buzzing with fireflies, somewhat relaxed rabbits, and filled with my gratitude as I pace contentedly.

I have yet to locate anyone with the surname, Eatcake.

But I will keep trying.

I don't post here much because I usually have more to say than this space allows.

I thought twitter was dumb for the same reason.

Well, it looks like crude is flat. Could be to placate the masses. I don't mind being wrong about anything, as long as I continue learning.

While it would be good to be wrong about this, it has been orchestrated similarly more than once.

Painful, but subsequently hilarious!

It reminds me of a humorous story in which someone asks a medium why they cover their crystal ball in silk.

Whereupon they answer, "Because I would rather not burn my house down."

What so many of my friends and acquaintances have missed, or misunderstood, for so long -- I am not on the spectrum, I am the spectrum.

So, try not to judge my outsides by what you know of your insides.
