when I was playing around with the redesign I tried the bolt ears without the weird double ear thing but they didnt feel attached to the head

It was a luxray oc for someone who was super fluffy!!

I wish they just focused on her a little bit more! I like the whole cast!! But I think there was so much going on with secondary characters that the plot got lost in the sauce!

For me it was disappointing because the premise and art direction was top notch! Wish it delivered more of a complete story

Like there's Rumi and Jinu, and then Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, Rumi and her aunt, Rumi and her mom, and then Rumi vs herself. Because there were so many other things going on in the movie, I felt none of these relationships managed to reach a conclusion that felt satisfactory (to me)

Rumi/Jinu had good chemistry but because there was so much going on in the plot, it felt super rushed when they all of a sudden connected. Then when Jinu sacrificed himself I didn't feel anything because their bond felt surface level still. There was way too much going on with Rumi in general

series format in order to address all the stuff they introduced. Again, this is just my opinion. I understand why so many people love it but it fell flat for me plot wise. 🥲

Also not saying it's bad by any means because I really liked the bones of the story. I just feel like they introduced way too many characters and the relationships all felt pretty surface level to me. Especially the romances. I thought it was a story that would have been way better off told in a

rumi's angst wasn't developed enough for me because her backstory was sooooo flat.

I understand why people like it!! I'm not saying it's terrible either just didn't hit the mark for me

animation style was super fun (a little corny at times though), songs were catchy but the plot was all over the place and they introduced way to many plot points and I was really satisfied by how they were addressed/resolved. Lots of things just felt rushed!
