Simmers, we’re wrapping up final testing on a retroactive fix for the missing railing issue. If everything checks out, it should ship in a small update on Feb 12, we’ll confirm once it’s locked in.

Sims 4 mods are broken .. many of them. Please don't report in the bug forum without having tested on a CLEAN folder without putting stuff back.

My sims rarely climb, so I don't think so. I'll take a look next time it happens. I do think in my case it's usually teens who do it. Not sure why.

Maybe something with the update has made it more common? It's been happening to me occasionally since after SE came out. I just randomly see it in their inventory. I actually caught the last sim doing it; I saw it in their queue and just let it happen & sure enough there was the gear afterwards!

I can’t speak for the event, but I occasionally have sims autonomously buy climbing gear on the computer. I have even had it happen recently.

One cause for black photos has been identified so far #Sims4

Use this thread if you have graduation photos and photo booth photos (and probably more) turn black after placing them from the library

We’re aware that some of you are experiencing issues with today’s Base Game Update. We know how disruptive this can be, and our teams are actively working on it. We’ll share next steps as soon as we have more information.

There's currently some issues with the patch. Hold off with saving the game on the new version. If you restart EA app your game probably reverts to the old version.
