Not completely correct, they were against sweatshops and shoddy good replacing tradesmen and handcrafted items for a good price. They were against what we know have as fast fashion, which is destroying the world at a fast pace. Capitalism painted them in a bad light.

Luddites were against shoddy goods being mass produced in sweatshops, at the expense of tradecraft, labour & working conditions.

The ruling class has always sought to portray them as fearful ignoramuses terrified of progress.

As ever, the loudest, most well-funded voices got to set the narrative.

I mean there is progress, in terms of less manual labor and there is destroying the human intellect by insidious technology.
There's helping with the washing and making children depressed and suicidal. Not all technology is a good idea. Think that's sinking in yes.

I mean it has a reasonable amount of it, but nothing on the walls and only a few things in the kitchen. It's really changing how I build. I mean you can also just do a shell ofc, which I often do too. But something in between is a good idea too maybe.

I mean this is a real eyeopener, although you can figure these things out yourself and most are obvious, but the ' big windows' one is good to keep in mind. A farm with lots of animals, a pond, many rooms and a greenhouse is no doubt the heaviest build. And yes I have one of those 😅

Good to check your builds when uploading, I'm now doing a less and more cluttered version of them ( last one also with very little basement stuff) because it can matter a lot depending on what hardware you run it on.
Some players think the game is ✨Magic✨ and will run as they want to at all times.

They assume that since they can run the game it's a GREAT idea to just plump any old insanely cluttered build in their HUGE save and get upset when the game lags and dies screaming. And add things like MCCC to it and also get upset the game is suffering in performance when played on a potato.

I think it's good that they explain these things because a lot of people don't realize some things will affect your performance more than others. The mirrors facing each other for instance is a good example of that. I'm now doing 2 types of build, a more and less cluttered version.

AKA Sims 4 is such a pain in the hoopla because people are crap with updating their mods and come crying to EA for every little thing.
Project Rene ( singleplayer PC version) was never a replacement to TS4 initially, but people baying for fixes killed Sims 4. Or so they say anyway..

Alrighty, so because players can't deal with updating their mods ( essentially) they are just gonna trash the whole of TS4 as most ' bug reports' are actually people playing broken mods and it's too expensive for QA teams to deal with these issues.

They look like nightmare material, it creeps me the F out really. This is so ' Universes Beyond'( Magic the Gathering ) where they hardly do regular sets anymore because FF and LOTR sets make more money. Don't need new fancy designs either. This is probably the way forward for the Sims

All of my mods including Core Library seem to be unaffected by today's patch (1.120.111)! They're safe to continue using, no updates required.
