Thank god no, it's a singleplayer game.
There will be a kind of Sims mobile game out ( who knows when) that will have multiplayer, free to play and of course micro transactions. Everything I hate about games basically.

If you don't want to update yet or just hate the event system, EA or can't log in for whatever reason..
This unlocks all the rewards immediately and without fuss.
I'm not updating for a while and don't like to be told what to do by EA.

The new family tree is also...a bit weird and not very clear ( it has been reported, I've not done the update myself yet as I expected this kind of mess).
It's great when they change functionality to improve things, but it can wreck things badly.

MAIN BUG with the Feb 3 update !!🚨

Nice huh, those new stair railings and stairs functionality!
But now build from before Feb 3 will have No railings at all.

Why they can't test these things before they release the update ...

Yeah seems the railing thing is a big issue. If you have back ups, it's okay. without...bye railings

But why?

And for the Love of Jeebus, take out the mod folder! Not just switch off mods, the game will update with the mod folder in and that can already break things. Thread carefully!

Main thing is railings missing on previous builds.

Yeah I can see that. I don't really have a lot of in-game photos of my sims so that doesn't really bother me. I was annoyed when I saw paintings turning white ( that I pulled off the gallery) yesterday.

⚠️ The issue with the update has been fixed. It looks like it’s safe to update now. I already downloaded it and tested it, and everything seems fine.

Just remember to make the necessary backups.

I just play offline, and wait until the storm is over, and the event.

If you don't want to do the update right away today. Got to your Settings in the EA app ( 3 lines on top left) and choose to not auto update.
Then you can just pick Go Offline to play the game.
You won't be able to access the Gallery when you do, so download/upload anything you want to before.

I'm having some issues with these, the smileys from other attraction categories have disappeared. Will this one be updated, and the other mods also after todays patch?

Also another warning from the Sims Team regarding tomorrow's update, it will change Core functionality in the game on how relationships work. ANY mod even vaguely related to that might break spectacularly.
Turn off auto update, see what happens first.
