On 9 September, at the 60th Session of the Human Rights Council, SIHA Network called for urgent action to end atrocities in Sudan. We urged the Council to renew the Fact-Finding Mission, ensure justice, support women defenders, and stand against genocide in Darfur.

In Sudan, enforced disappearance is being used as a weapon of war against women and girls. SIHA has documented over 291 cases of enforced disappearance, with 88% still missing.
