I totally get you there. But then I look at my storage and realize I don’t have enough space for another elaborate and space-consuming outfit like Vashs coat (if I do something new, something else has to go. I just don’t have the space capacity anymore). That keeps me from updating stuff 😂

I really hope Stargaze-Wolfwood is more suave and a bit more comedic (like his 1998 and manga counterpart).

Honestly didn’t expect to land at a love hotel right at my first Japan trip but it made a funny memory 😂

(9) So there I was, with my little bit of bad, broken japanese and the translation app, trying to tell that staff-guy on the phone what our problem was and trying to figure out why the hell our ticket suddenly wasn’t valid anymore. In the end we had to buy another ticket -

(8) The ticket we had bought turned out not to be valid for our station (even though it said it was!). Around 6 p.m., there are no staff members at Japanese train stations anymore, which meant we couldn’t talk to anyone directly about our problem. But there were intercoms.

(7) He invited us for a cup of tea, and called a taxi for us (we waited another 30 minutes).
At the train station, we said goodbye to the guy we had met earlier. We thought we could finally relax and head back to our accommodation. But nope!

(6) Just as we were trying to figure out what to do next, a staff member suddenly appeared behind us out of nowhere. No idea where he came from. He asked how he could help us, and we had to explain that we didn’t want that kind of service — we just wanted a taxi.

(5) So we went up a staircase to see if we could find any staff. We quickly realized that we had accidentally walked into a love hotel. Three women & one guy — it was quite funny.
Anyway, we went down again on the other side of the velvet-covered hallway and ended up back outside

(4) When we walked back down, we realized that the last bus had already left (& it was only 7 p.m.). Supposedly, there was a hotel nearby, so we went there to ask if they could call a taxi for us. But when we walked into the lobby, there was no one there — it was really strange.

(3)Then we had to walk up a stone path full of switchbacks to reach the shrine. That took us another 25 minutes. When we finally got to the top, the shrine was just closing. Apparently, we looked so exhausted from the climb that they kindly let us in for another 20 minutes.

(2)We got along so well that we talked too much and missed our stop. When we finally got off, we had to walk back (the area was so remote that there was no way to get a taxi), so we ended up walking about 40 minutes back to the actual bus stop.

1) Japan storytime!
My two (female) friends & I visited Nara & spend the forenoon with the deers. We had planned to visit the Pink Shrine in the afternoon. Since it’s a bit outside the city, we took the bus. Inside was a nice guy who was also heading there, so we went together.

don’t even mention anymore when I started because ppl sometimes get weird about it 😂 (before 2011). Just say „longer than you think“ and leave it at that
