The 1990s were a great decade for films in general, but the Best Picture winners from that decade were mostly terrible. Dances With Wolves (over Goodfellas)? Forrest Gump (over Pulp Fiction)? Braveheart? The English Patient, Titanic (over Boogie Nights or LA Confidential), and Shakespeare in Love?
Predator: Badlands, it's your time to shine!
I'd jump on that first high, hard one and take him deep. Duh!
Looks like he was ready to square up if any Will Smith style nonsense happened 😂
Too bad. This was a long time coming.
Blood money.
"Hundreds of times"??? OK, at this point, I'm pretty sure this dude is suppressing some pretty heinous memories of his childhood.
My predictions for the major Oscar cats:

Song: “Golden”
Score: Sinners
Editing: OBAA
Remember, he name dropped Dr. Strange in “Mambo Sun.”
The Oscars did us so dirty in the Best Supporting Actor category this year by nominating TWO guys FOR THE FIRST TIME who have had long careers of great character work - Lindo and Stellan Skarsgård. So long as either of those two beat Sean Penn, I’ll be happy.
$12 billion of your tax dollars spent on a war of choice that only benefits Israel, Russia, and American oligarchs while your healthcare subsidies were deemed too expensive.
Yes, voter apathy is a big issue in the US. But why is it higher here than in other comparable democracies? I think it’s the 4th difference between the US & EU that I didn’t have room to include which is our hyper-capitalism leads ppl to concluding our system is elite captured & that’s demobilizing.
Blaming US polarization solely on the two-party system is incomplete, I think. The US is a superpower that relies on national mythmaking, is far more religious than most of the EU & wrestles w/ multiculturalism on an existential scale. These shape US politics in ways most EU countries don’t face.
"Security"? What happened to an oven mitt and Tupperware container?
I think it's a toss-up between Amy Madigan and Teyana Taylor with Madigan ultimately winning it, although Taylor probably deserves it more.

I am physiologically incapable of posting something this stupid. Like, I would literally be unable to sleep knowing that a post that stupid was out there with my handle on it. I'd be sweating.
I want someone who is a combination of Eliot Ness, Paul Wellstone, and LBJ (for his ruthlessness and lack of illusions about what the other side stood for) as our 2028 presidential candidate. They can be any race, gender, creed. I just want a merciless bulldog who hates corruption & the oligarchy.
And if it doesn't, do we get to bill him for it?
I'm shocked that the same people who have demonstrated over and over the last year and 3 months that they are also the dumbest people to ever control the presidency are bumbling around like a bunch of morons in Iran.
Operator culture is ruining American men. Leave the spec ops shit to the professionals, damn. You don't need SEAL Team Six energy to hit a damn ball with a stick.
This game is insane! Just two teams throwing haymakers at each other.
Pop the wine corks! 🤌
