The main reason that upping the price of games has become a topic, is because AAA games are so expensive to make not because the worlds are bigger and more lifelike, but because graphics and advertising are expensive.

It should be, but the people who make these policies are hyper corrupt, so no change will happen unless they and their ilk are gone.

Businesses that are "actively hiring" get tax breaks. So a loophole was found that they don't actually need to hire anyone, just prove that they go through the hiring process routinely. And at the same time, data brokers pay them for your resume info. So they make money and pay less taxes.
