While it is very cool that Dorohedoro is getting another season of anime, you ABSOLUTELY should read the manga.
Hayashida has such a unique art and shading style that it's effectively impossible to animate. The anime does a decent job, but it feels like transposing it into a whole different style.

Maybe right now your eye is really sharpened up and practiced and is seeing things you’d like to address or change, and your hand hasn’t quite caught up.
That said, maybe it’s the classic art cycle. Sometimes your eye (your ability to see what is working and what isn’t) is better than your hand (your ability to draw what you are thinking about/seeing in your mind’s eye), and vice versa.
I’ve never thought that. In fact the opposite. Love your sense for shapes and colors. Your compositions are so good, and being able to see your wips and thus seeing your process— what you keep, what you rework— really confirms that for me.
I don’t always feel great about myself but I feel like saying I’m so grateful for the furry community, and I’m so happy I’m a furry, part of this community. It’s really special.
