I truly enjoyed visiting St. Peter M.B. Church in Grenada County for their Black History Program. It was an honor to reflect on our history and celebrate the strength and resilience that continue to shape us today.

Mississippi’s Second District is built on faith, resilience, and strong communities. When we come together and look out for one another, we are stronger than any challenge we face.

The chaos coming out of this administration and Congressional Republicans continues to hurt working families and create uncertainty in our communities. I will continue to speak up and fight back when policies threaten Mississippi families.

I want to thank all the officials, community leaders, and community members who came out to my campaign office open house last Friday. I truly enjoy these moments of fellowship with all of you!

I’ve been blessed to see another birthday, and I’m grateful for the many years of life and the memories along the way. I woke up this morning to so many birthday messages, and I truly thank you all for thinking of me. I am forever grateful.

ICE has been threatening & enacting violence on communities across the US, including in my home state of Louisiana. I’m being joined by #HomelandDems Ranking Member @benniethompson.bsky.social & other Democratic colleagues to talk about recent immigration enforcement actions & their impact.

This weekend was absolutely splendid. I enjoyed traveling through the district, participating in some of the MLK parades, and fellowshiping with the good folks of the district.

As a Member of Congress, I swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I will continue to honor that oath, because as far as I am concerned, the danger remains clear and present, and it happens to be sitting in the Oval Office.

@jasmineforus.bsky.social has been a bold, unwavering leader since day one in Congress. When they tried to silence her, she rose higher. Now she’s bringing that same fire to the U.S. Senate race in Texas, and Texas will be better represented because of it.

Mississippi has lost over $15 billion since the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) was passed. Mississippi refused to take the money, and as a result, people are dying, and hospitals are about to close.

Tell Mom to Keep The Faith. This nightmare will be over soon.

Today, the President plans to sign this devastating bill into law. The full impact may not be felt immediately, but America will feel its weight in time. Despite our amendments, calls, & protests, they passed it. When 2026 comes and it’s time to choose new leaders, let us not forget who put us here.

Praying in the House, while preparing to vote away benefits for seniors, children, and the sick. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Our democracy suffers when lies are louder than laws!

Now that this ugly bill has passed the Senate, it returns to the House—and let me be clear: I will be voting NO again. I refuse to sell out the very people who sent me to Congress. My constituents come first—always. I will never sell them out, not now, not ever.

153,910 people will lose care in Mississippi under this terrible bill, and they have the audacity to call it "Beautiful."

The hypocrisy is astonishing.
