5 days away and I've been in shopping centres, multiple supermarkets but the place I was most worried about was the barbers today. Playing commercial radio for my whole visit. I've never run out of a place so fast.

The fact is no presenter has ever had to leave the BBC for expressing conservative views, or even explicitly endorsing a right-wing party.

Was never a problem for Jeremy Clarkson. Was never a problem for Andrew Neil. Was never a problem for Alan Sugar

my great-grandparents arrived in the UK in the 1890s with nothing.
they sold pickles from the front room window, took in laundry, worked as tailors.
their children were nurses, teachers, salesmen.
their grandchildren were professors, designers, opticians, doctors, magistrates, entrepreneurs.

“Benefits”- 42% of day to day gov spending.

Of that, 44% is *state pensions*.

34% is universal credit, which largely tops up substandard wages.

24% is disability and sickness allowances.

8% is housing benefit.

5% is spend on child benefits.

Which do people want to cut?

Took a lot of hope that Schotty was banging the table for BPA. Results might not come immediately but if we continue this way then we may return to being a functional franchise with genuine Post-Season credentials.

I’ve always been perplexed by people who need to leave the planet in order to realise how precious and beautiful it is.

I totally agree in giving support for those playing for the badge, but money is the only thing the owners understand. So if you are going to renew then leave it until the last possible day to make the owners sweat!

Labour needs to stop being so afraid about rejoining the EU Rejoining would revive our economy and boost our security

A call to Labour to Rejoin the EU.

"It’s nine years since the UK voted to quit the European Union. It has proven to be a disaster, and a disaster made greater by the election of Donald Trump.

The world is at a pivotal moment. Stark political reality faces us."

The government is putting the big banks and gambling companies ahead of disabled people and carers. It is not just cruel, it is a false economy.

Ministers must think again.

Bacon, then eggs, put them on your plate, cook off sliced mushrooms and onions in the same grease and then throw in baked beans/chopped tomatoes to soak up all of the grease 🤤

Only way to do it is to stay away on matchdays, not renew season tickets and not buy merchandise. Clearly money is the only thing Venkys value! #RTID

Back to back losses against awful teams! It says a lot that he didn't last a full season in charge of any of his last six appointments! Venkys scraping the barrel now!

Photo of Ed Davey next to a quote "We are on the verge of a historic betrayal of Ukraine by the United States. It’s clear we cannot rely on Donald Trump to defend Ukraine or uphold Europe’s security. Time is of the essence to support our Ukrainian friends in their fight against Putin’s brutal forces. Failure to act now would be unforgivable."

The Liberal Democrats have called on the government to bring forward emergency legislation tomorrow Parliament to begin the seizure of frozen Russian assets and support Ukraine.

I was in the Jack Walker today with a Villa fan mate, who could not believe how bad the ref was.

But for our one and only shot on target to come in the 96th minute is not good enough, especially when we were in the ascendancy for most of the second half.
