Le glas a sonné pour le train de Charlevoix Après 13 ans d'existence, le train de Charlevoix cessera ses activités vendredi, faute de financement. Une cinquantaine de personnes vont perdre leur emploi.

C'est triste de voir le train retiré comme moyen de transport pour se rendre à l'Ultra-Trail Harricana. En même temps, la vocation de ce corridor pourrait être transformée pour le transport actif : vélo, randonnée, ski de fond. ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/212...

Holy crap! That's a lot of runners. Is there the same with trail running? Trail running events here are quite small compared to what you have in Europe.

This is one reality. I see another model that is very interesting. In this model, you first buy a standard bib, like everyone else. Then, you register for the program and receive a discount based on the amount of money you raise.

Don't just look at the prices display. Some races offer discounts to volunteers or participants who raise funds for a cause. Pretty popular here in Canada.
