We are finally getting good rain levels to break this drought we've been in! It's very crisp and lovely outside despite the rain! My husband is experimenting with using focaccia as a hot dog bun replacement this weekend!

Sometimes I think about how the three letter agencies raised multiple red flags and Congressional warnings about Nazis and other white supremacist/hate groups infiltrating the military and police forces in the US and then wonder why people are shocked this keeps happening.

E and I sit down to dinner every night and limit ourselves to how much we're going to scream about what's going on in the world because otherwise we just spiral. Doing the same with my parents too. It is very much so not great!

No but for real. I talk about all sorts of things that make me happy here because this is the level of anger I am carrying all the time 24/7.

Prior to, I could browse apps all day, play a couple of games, have a facetime call with my therapist, and read my book on my phone and still have around 40% battery when I get home. Not after this last update!

Whatever the last Android update was has really bricked the hell out of my phone's battery life. I can't go half a morning even with battery saver on without it getting down to 50% with my normal browsing activities. I haven't changed my habits at all.

And frankly, I will always bow to the king that is Zuhair Murad for always giving women powerful silhouettes, dramatic shoulder capes, and brilliantly.comolex embroidery. Plus I love the use of reds and burgundies in a lot of collections this year.

Elie Saab Fall/Winter 2025 was made for me, specifically.

I freaking love oversized sweaters cinched at the waist with a belt, asymmetrical floofy collars, and glitzy jackets over basics with excellent lines.

Getting caught up with all of my favorite fashion houses and their Fall/Winter collections, don't mind me.

Give me all the massively chunky cable knit sweaters. I need more of this. MORE I SAY.

This whole collection has my inner Beau Brummel hater warring with my fashion obsessed fangirl right now.

apparently my sister's elderly mostly blind and deaf pug decided she was going to take a swim in the pool yesterday, because my sister sent the group chat a security cam video of herself using the pool net to scoop her out

I love that he mentioned that it changes every time he lights it up too. Sometimes the hive prospers, sometimes it fails. That's beautiful!

An undead goblin from World of Warcraft has his smoke break interrupted by his business partner- an undead human of a very greasy disposition. The human brandishes a vintage poster, detailing the goblin during his youth as a rather salacious lounge singer. He remarks "real nice." He hopes that by highlighting his partner's history, he may be able to convince him to allow the goblin to hire on adult entertainment at the restaurant they own. He is unaware of the danger he is currently in. The goblin is baring his irregular, needle like fangs. He looks a bit miffed.

Another undead goblin, the bartender of the restaurant looks over the vintage poster with an undead elf. The goblin has four mechanical arms and is using them to pour a glass of what appears to be blood into a whisky glass. She is trying to placate her boss, but she's in no rush as she is looking over the poster. The elf is also looking at the poster and remarks "Eh..." unimpressed with the figure. All the while, in the background, the greasy chef is being lunged at, about to have the ever loving snot beaten out of him by his starving, irate, basically feral chimpanzee roided ragebeast of an employer.

Before he came to own the Bloated Rat, Gazrik did some moonlighting at the Diamond Lounge as an entertainer to pay for his degree.

30 years later, he still has to deal with the ramifications- and so do the people who remind him.
