Y'all. The book I've been writing since April? Is finally DONE. At a whopping 108,886 words... she is D O N E.

While I don't necessarily miss Harry Potter as an IP with everything that's come to light, I just got a really huge wave of nostalgia for Wizard Rock concerts and lobby parties at conventions. THAT stuff I miss. You ever go to a concert in a library or sing songs about books? You def missed out.

People are maaaad they have to actually do hard work themselves in this world that readily tells them it's okay to not. (Good on Harold Jam for the rule, tho, fr.)

I see some very interesting and strange things on my walks with Broccoli.

Today we saw 5 baby ducks (normal), a lizard someone spray painted neon pink (less normal), and... a potato. Yup. Just a singular Yukon Gold sitting not on a sidewalk where it might have been dropped, but behind an AC unit.

Time-tracking (and then also time BLOCKING) is such an effective motivation tool for me. When I look down and see I've spent the same amount of time watching YouTube in a week that I would for my FT job, it's a slap in the face to stop wasting my life.
