Yeah ummmm I should not have found out about the world of fakémon. Because I am having too much fun doodling them. (No means perfect. And sometimes very much monstrosities.)

Thick hawk with a relatively short tail awkwardly perched on a chain-linked fence on campus, with campus brick buildings behind. The hawk has a white belly with a hint of their typical belly band of stripes and spots, yellow feet with killer black talons, brown wings and head, white around a sharp yellow and black beak, a piercing yellow eye, and a brown-red tail.

In the 1930s, Red-tailed Hawks were absent from most of Ohio due to habitat loss and human persecution ("kill all predators" colonial mentality).

Whenever I get a chance to take a few minutes to watch our campus hawks I'm just so so grateful that they were protected and managed to recover.
