South Africa: LGBTI Activist and the first openly gay imam, Muhsin Hendricks, has been murdered

Imam Hendricks fought tirelessly for the rights of the LGBTI people, despite reportedly receiving regular death threats. His legacy will live on.

There must be a prompt, effective and thorough investigation into his murder.

German authorities must stop their crackdown on speech and protests and the discriminatory restriction of freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.
