He’s a very poor defender at second. He fits as a 1B/DH, but #Bluejays have lots of those and his distinct lack of power makes him unattractive in that spot.

If only he could play defence, teams would be lining up!

#Bluejays have announced a group of 20 players who aren’t on the 40 that they’ve invited to spring training.

Excited to see a few of these - Nimmala, Stanifer, McAdoo and Kasevich especially. But that’s just me.

I don't remember teams acting much differently during the 2021 season with the CBA set to expire. The big frenzy was in the day or two before the lockout.

Mike Wilner: It wasn’t supposed to be this way for Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. They were going to win the World Series together They had talked about winning together in the low minors and Bichette had said again and again that he wanted to stay in Toronto, but a deal never materialized.
