Our rates have increased over the years. The last time we raised it was actually January this year, after having kept the rate unchanged since 2022. And the comments we got on that from existing customers?

"Happy to pay you your new rate - you're worth it."

Ever since I started my agency, I've been hearing customers complaining about our rates being too high.

That may be reasonable, when based on the value or experience we bring in. Especially, when we were new in the business.

But that was never the case. It was always because we are in Lithuania.

Ironically, some of the people posting those have only been MVPs for less than a year.

And I have actually seen one posting recommendations like that without even being an MVP themselves! Seriously?

Do I have any non Microsoft MVPs that actually want to become #MVP here?

If so, care to share why you'd want that?

I've seen several posts on LinkedIn with roadmaps and "guaranteed paths" to becoming an MVP and I call BS on those. But non-MVPs seem to really like them and find them inspiring.

I keep hearing that #RPA is basically patchwork and that "proper" solutions are the only way to do it long-term.

Well, we have clients still running RPA solutions we built for them back in 2018, when we started the business.

The last one that unfortunately perished a while ago lived to a beautiful age of 18 with us. ❤️

Every single cat we have ever owned was a stray. We would find them in the street at anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 months old, pick them up, nurture them to health and eventually keep them.

We currently have 4: a 7yo, a 3yo and two kittens that are at 7 months now.

And yet, if we don't do it, our flows can fail very easily and the built-in notifications won't really save us, as they're quite crap. So, if we actually build flows to automate actual business processes, they should include proper error handling, logging and notifications.

Neither does the fact that both tools are marketed heavily towards business users who do not necessarily know how to do error handling (or that they should do it in the first place).

The main reason why I talk so much about error handling in #PowerAutomate is because it is not intuitive in any way. This applies both to cloud and desktop flows. And the fact it works differently between cloud and desktop doesn't help at all.

We actually had that discussion with my wife as we are planning the next house 😅

Not as much because of the small hands, but most likely because of cats. Cats and LEGO don't work well together 🙀

Oh, there's plenty of time. With the very little time I allocate to LEGO lately (took me over 4 months to finish my Stich), it would most likely take a decade to complete the Titanic 😅

But you still need to store it somewhere even while it's WIP!

That's a risky strategy. If she does that, I might bring the Titanic and the Eiffel Tower home 😅

I kinda feel I'd prefer him getting some of that screen time instead 🫣

He was a bit disappointed by the lack of TNTs, so, he fought monsters.

He'd do all he could to get mobs on the board so he could fight them.

I tried telling him this was a destructive strategy, and yet somehow he would pick the hardest mobs and absolutely obliterate them with sheer luck. 🤦‍♂️

I've avoided X so far and will not even start. I post professional stuff on LinkedIn, and then do that plus some more personal quirky things here, too.

Got it for my wife a while ago. She loved building it, even though she's not much of a Transformers fan.

And my kids love playing with it.

It's a bit fragile for actual play, though.

We usually aim for end of November, but end up doing it mid-December at best.

We have a few new young cats in the house this year so we are kinda worried the tree may not survive until Christmas unless we put it up during Christmas 😅

I feel like I should start playing together with him and show him all of the amazing things that can be done outside of blowing everything up.

But my #Minecraft glory days are long gone and I bet I couldn’t hold a candle against him now 🫣

My wife likes them sweeter, so she wasn't a fan, but I loved it!
