I'm curious to know if you or your students have used AI marking platforms for GCSE or A level history (eg Classroom 42's 'Examinator'). What are your/your students experiences? Any insights would be really appreciated. Thanks!

A 4hr 26 min train journey to get to #SHP25 . What better way to pass the time than to lose myself in some incredible #ChangingHistoriesKS3 Book 3:Fragile Worlds chapters. The author team and @counsellc.bsky.social have worked their magic yet again.

@hughrichards.bsky.social is writing a few summary stories on Ireland for Changing Histories Book 3 so might be able to help. @msquinnhistory.bsky.social is also excellent.

It will be really good. @catherinepriggs.bsky.social and @egcarr.bsky.social are brilliant at explaining how to integrate rich extended story with critical disciplinary thinking. They explain the #ChangingHistoriesKS3 series really well, giving great practical tips.

This short thread by Cat Priggs made me think:
History planning is about tying things together into a shape, a flow – usually a story & often a parallel flow of the analytic direction created by the EQ. It isn't about breaking things up into propositions and it's rarely about teaching a procedure.

Paula is a genius. Her chapters in #ChangingHistoriesKS3 sing. And thanks to her, my 4 year old son, Roo, wants to know more about 'the queen type lady' (Nur Jahan) and how she liked to ride elephants and hunt tigers. Thank you Paula for your amazing dedication to this project.

I heard the author of the Ireland chapters in that textbook is a rather excellent writer and history teacher.
