He's so determined to vote, he's planning to stick it out and get himself there in person. These things shouldn't be happening. We tried to call ourselves early last week and couldn't get through.

Just spoke to a disabled vet who has a hard time in crowds to the point of ordering groceries to his door. He's been calling the Elections Department since January for his mail-in ballot with no one picking up the phone.

Constant stories from residents about election problems in Bexar County. Can't get the Elections Department on the phone, polling hours weren't posted anywhere through most of early voting (I'm just barely seeing them on the website in the last ~48 hours) and mail-in ballots aren't being received.

You know someone's scared when residents start reporting stolen yard signs 😂

This is your friendly reminder to please go early vote before the 29th and reach out if you want to knock some doors and help Jalen drive this home on Election Day!

This is the first time in over 30 years that a District 2 Councilperson will finish their final term. If Jalen's constant efforts to keep the community informed through every medium possible haven't gotten the point across that change is being made, take a look at the receipts.

We won. Nine challengers. No person re-elected in TEN years, and just from the first moment of early vote results, we won outright with no runoff.

Convenient that while a heavily-funded anti prop-A campaign carries out GOTV work, "ACAB", "FTP", anarchy symbols, and other things that look like a conservative boomer's impression of teen graffiti start being spraypainted near high-visibility intersections. End of commentary.

Yesterday, @cosa_cd2 came together with the residents of Jefferson Heights and cleaned up the corridor along Polaris St. We also assisted residents in the area get rid of their bulky items. ♥️ 🖤 @theloserteacher

Celebrating all of the great times I had with District 7. We faced the pandemic, extreme weather events, and thousands of constituent needs like a well-oiled machine. I'll miss everyone and look forward to my next chapter serving the Eastside with Council District 2 🥳
