We visited Acadia NP, Maine before the US became Trumpified. TBH it was lovely but way too urbanized. We decided once was enough. By comparison we’ve been to Fundy NP, New Brunswick 5 times and could go again. It’s the CDN culture that keeps bringing us back. Down to earth beauty and amazing people.

There’s a distinct difference btwn US & Canadian culture. Some may think we’re so alike we should just submit to the 51st State takeover, but I think those folks are few & far between. We are proudly distinct, proudly Canadian. You’re right in saying we need to recognize and hold on to our identity.

Your story makes me wonder if the US resorts to arms against Canada, if there’ll be Americans siding with Canada🤔

That fact is extremely sobering.

This is heartening news. There’s a ton of job opportunities within the military for both men and women. And with your education paid for it’s a wonder they don’t have an over abundance of applicants.
