yeah honestly bg3 being 5e is the worst thing about it. Playing other cprgs like PoE, Pathfinder WotR/Kingmaker, and even BG1+2 really just hits so much better in the mechanics area.

You know what kinda bums me out? PoE 1 has a really good system once you get your head around it, and then Deadfire (the sequel) iterated it even better

But BG3, a massive runaway success, couldn't make BG4 and iterate the same way.
