1. She never name dropped him. She replied to a tweet talking about him. That’s not her name dropping him.

2. Mac’s drug addiction was WELL known before she tweeted that.

No. She didn’t. No one is obligated to stand by someone they love who refuses to get help and slowly watch them die.

She stood by him, tried to get him help, and when she realized that no matter what she did HE WAS STILL GONNA DIE. And she didn’t want to support him in the process.

….Leaving them alone to die instead of fighting tooth and nail and using every avenue to try and help someone you claim to love.

Obviously addicts and addiction is a very nuanced topic. There is too much to cover in posts on social media.

But this is wild to me.

If an addict is someone you care about, just “leaving them alone” is negligent, ignorant, and displays no true sense of care or love for the person you love.

“Sit by and watch the person you love kill themselves whether you like it or not.” Is basically your argument.

And I hate to say it, even if Arianna hadn’t blown the whistle, there’s a 95% chance Mac still would’ve died the way he did.
That was part of her whole reasoning when she left him. He wouldn’t get help, He was getting worse and worse, she couldn’t sit around and watch him kill himself.

As someone with plenty of family and friends who were users, YES. BUT, what do we do when they are on the verge of killing themselves with their escape?
Sadly coddling and turning a blind eye to their use only because it’s “their escape” is negligence for those you love.

You ever consider Arianna or anyone around Mac didn’t know what to do? Is it the worlds business? No. However people around him had tried every attempt to urge him to get help. Arianna making it public was in one form of another a Hail Mary. Is she in the wrong? Yes. Is the situation nuanced? Yes.

My dad instilled watching through LOTR and Star Wars the weeks of Christmas and New Years. I moved out seven years ago and I still do it every. Single. Year.

I feel like videogames actually do provide a pretty accurate representation of real life right now because a lot of videogames are like “THE WORLD IS ENDING” and then you just collect herbs and pretend nothing is wrong

I want to grab everyone who told me Trump has never and will never try to break the law and slam their face against the tv screen. Even with the lights in their eyes they won’t see it.

Convinced majority of my work will always remain in the #wip stage.
