For starters, you can replace the usual edge highlights with black lining to outline different parts of the model. Depending on the model, you might not want to black line the recesses because it'll make the model look dirty and too busy. I suggest keeping some comic books near you for references

A mecha with a huge left fist. This is Zheng, the mech that debuted in the mech TTRPG Lancer, and its huge fist is its signature weapon.

The strange looking mech is holding a sci-fi style assault rifle. The mech is Pegasus, appeared in the tabletop role-playing game Lancer. This is an artillery mech that uses a non-existent gun to attack enemies in a non-shooting manner.

A yellow mech, roughly star-shaped, wields a four-barrel shotgun. Next to it is the same mech, equipped with huge star-shaped boosters.

A red mech with a huge cannon in the right hand and a large caliber shotgun and pile bunker in the left hand. Custom mech based on the Gilgamesh frame from the lancer ttrpg,

It is now 6/21 in my time zone and the goal is to reach 621 followers today!

Recolour of one of last month's mechs. It's thiccer but, in this colour scheme, it makes me think of one of my favourite MS; Debroah's advanced GN-X.

I'm currently always thinking about a mech design with a giant, spherical thruster on it's back.

I like this take fine enough, but I want to push some of the features and shapes a bit further (that is to say, make it way weirder).
