Farming Today (BBC Radio) today discussed dire shortage of farm vets. Puts the blame partially on Brexit. Pre Brexit approx 1000 vets per annum moved to the UK mostly from EU countries. Post Brexit it’s dropped to 500 a year, mostly non-EU.
