And finally, what they really need is government which creates safe societies which foster hope and equality rather than despair and violence. Perhaps an emphasis on wellbeing rather than quick profit and individualism would reduce the amount of violence and anger teachers face every day.

Firstly what an incredibly divisive and insulting question. Secondly. Teachers don't need or want sympathy. What they do need are properly funded inclusion initiatives, more classroom assistants, not less, an end to standardised assessments/ targets which reduce children to figures on a spreadsheet
