I have a video of my now 7 year old doing exactly this when he was 13 months so I’m pretty sure they’ve evolved to test our reflexes.
We often see this commercial during J!/Wheel and I also wonder this exact same thing. Also, my 7 year old who watches with me hates the commercial and covers his eyes until it’s over because the rash imagery is too scary.
