Hux stopped abruptly in the corridor to adjust his jodphurs. One look at that 🍑 and Kylo tripped on his cape.

"So I..."

"Spurned his affections and broke his heart, yes," Mitaka finishes for him.

Kylo lifts the fish and sinks his teeth into it. He dashes out of the canteen with it, presumably to show Hux.

Mitaka sips his caf, muttering, "Idiot." 2/2

"I don't like fish."

Kylo watches Hux's expression fall just before he rises and exits the canteen.

"What's his problem?"

Mitaka glowers at him. "On Arkanis, it's customary to present a loved one with a fresh catch. The general brought that fish from his shore leave." 1/2

"You know what's fun?" Kylo asked, leaning closer. "Helping a queen remove her makeup."

"How is that fun?"

Hux arrived home after his shift, his face and groin covered in many colors.

In the SUV, Kylo snaked his jeweled hand along Hux's thigh. "You excel in crowd control. I just may keep you."

"I take the job seriously."

Kylo smiled. "Are you always serious? Don't you ever have fun?"

"Of course." 4/5

To their credit, they did. Kylo emerged in full drag, surprising Hux. He watched the crowd during the engagements, impressed. At times when somebody stepped out of line, other fans reigned them in. An hour passed, but Kylo stayed for every last one. 3/5

The first stage door was an exercise in restraint. Hux secured the barricades lining the path and read the crowd the riot act.

One selfie per person. Kylo signs one program per. Kylo accepts no gifts. Touch Kylo and stage door ends. The crowd promised to behave. 2/5

Hux accepted the position thinking it easer than past assignments guarding politicians and CEOs. Yes, drag performers enjoyed strong fanbases thanks to the competition shows, but Hux figured he'd spend his nights discouraging aggressive housewives wanting selfies. 1/5

That's when Hux blushes. Kylo grins.

"You know, I would love to review this one first."

"It took five years to test and develop this one, and now it's our best seller."

Kylo takes out the dildo, noting its girth and firmness. "Really? Over all your vibes and suction toys? A simple dildo?"

"Sometimes simple works best."

"Is it modeled after anybody here?"

He is amazed by how much happens behind the scenes. "Really, I thought companies like yours just filled dick molds with silicone and slapped them in boxes to sell," he says.

Hux nods. "We take personal pleasure seriously, Mr. Ren." He takes a box from the supply closet. 2/4

Mr. Hux is all professional - three-piece suit, not a strand of red hair out of place. Kylo figured he'd shunt the factory tour off to some underling and is surprised when the COO leads the way.

Kylo is shown the testing lab, the manufacturer's floor, and the conference room for focus groups. 1/4

A faint drizzle fell upon them as they sat together, huddled in front of the steadily growing bonfire. There was silence for a long while, only broken by the crackle of flames and an occasional small gust of wind.

After searching for hours, Ren finally found Hux, deep in the woods. He stood beside him silently, watching the roaring blaze.

Finally, Hux spoke. "You told me to kill my past."

Ren glanced at his hands. "Is that Pryde's code cylinder?"

"It was," he tossed it into the flames.

Porg Kylo notices a rock of indeterminate size fall as an unaware Hux walks by a cliff.

With a leap, determined Kylo deflects the stone, the size of a pebble, with his own body. Hux remains unaware.

Kylo is always protective, whether Hux is aware of it or not!
